Bouldering is a form of free climbing that is performed on small rock formations or artificial rock walls without the use of ropes or harnesses.
Due to these short routes, more can be asked of the climber therefore the movements are often more physical than when climbing long routes with a rope.
At Klimhal Amsterdam there are several boulder areas with walls up to 4 meters high. To prevent injuries, fall mats are provided at all routes.
